What is personal data?
"Personal data" means any personal information that directly or indirectly identifies you, such as, of course, the name, address, e-mail address, telephone and mobile phone number, and any genetic, physical, physiological, economic or cultural data that point to a single person.
Which personal data is collected and managed by Infarmed's website? When does this take place and for what purpose?
When you visit our website and subscribe to the available features, Infarmed collects some of your personal data so that we can send you the information or clarification you requested. We do not collect personal information that identifies you, or that concerns your personal elements, without your consent. We may collect and store information that you have voluntarily decided to provide us with, including, but not limited to, personal information such as your name, email address and password (required fields).
In case personal data is mandatory, Infarmed will inform about this obligation. The provision of incorrect or inaccurate data is of sole responsibility of the user.

Under what circumstances is there communication of data to other entities (third parties and subcontractors)?
Infarmed may use third parties to provide certain services. Since such provision of services implies access to the personal data of our users by third parties , Infarmed will take appropriate measures to ensure that the entities concerned are reputed and offer the highest guarantees at this level, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

Infarmed appointed a Data Protection Officer in accordance with Article 37 (1) (a) of the Personal Data Protection Regulation that can be reached, via e-mail, to firstname.lastname@example.org or to INFARMED - National Authority for Medicines and Health Products, I.P., Lisbon Health Park - Avenida do Brasil, 53, 1749-004 Lisboa.
Personal data owners rights
Under the law, the owners of the personal data have:
- The right to access, freely and unrestricted, confirming, rectifying and erasing the data that they have provided when registering;
- The right to request the total and definitive elimination of your registration. To do so, you must make this request, clearly indicating its intention to the electronic address email@example.com or to INFARMED - National Authority of Medication and Health Products, IP, Lisbon Health Park - Avenida do Brasil, 53, 1749-004 Lisbon;
- If you understand that the managment of your data by Infarmed violates the legal regime in force at any moment, you must complain to the Data Protection Officer for the electronic address (firstname.lastname@example.org). You also have the right to submit a complaint to the National Data Protection Commission.
Keeping personal data
After collecting the personal data you have voluntarily transmitted to us, Infarmed will keep and maintain it for the time considered strictly necessary for the purpose mentioned while registrating, or until the law requires its conservation, without prejudice to the right to erase the data, which assists you.
Security and use of the data
Infarmed is committed to ensure the privacy of its website visitors.
Minors must obtain authorization from legal representatives before making personal data available on Infarmed's website.
